Alexander the great and Kevlar?

Well not exactly, but apparently he had kevlar-like armor ~2300 years ago. Check it out


  1. I can honestly say I didn't know that. No wonder he conquered like fucking everything.

  2. A lot of other stuff had a similar idea behind it too right? Suits of armor were just intertwined chain mail with a solid layer of armor on top. This takes it to the next step though.
